What is a smile makeover?
A smile makeover is a bespoke, multi-treatment cosmetic dental plan designed to comprehensively address the appearance — and where necessary, the function — of your smile.
Rather than treating one isolated concern, a smile makeover takes a whole-smile view: considering the colour, shape, proportion, symmetry, and alignment of all visible teeth together, and planning the most appropriate combination of treatments to achieve a result that is beautiful, balanced, and built to last.
At Khan Dental, we use the term smile makeover when we are addressing five or more teeth in a single, coordinated plan — most commonly 8 to 10 upper teeth, sometimes extending to the lower arch. But beyond that number, what defines a true smile makeover is the intent: the deliberate, holistic design of a complete smile rather than a series of disconnected treatments.
A smile makeover can be simple or complex, rapid or staged over several months. What it is never is generic. Every plan we create is written specifically for the person sitting in front of us — their anatomy, their aesthetic preferences, their clinical situation, and their life.
